Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My earliest musical memory has to be listening to the acapella gospel group Take 6 with my parents. I always loved trying to learn all the harmony parts to each song even as a toddler. I try to incoporate those rich harmonies in my music.

Its almost impossible to chose only three favourite albums. But I think these albums encapsulate everything I love about music. From production to vocal ability and, most importantly, amazing songs.

“Last Resort”
My song "Last Resort" is a song about learning to let go of someone you care about and moving on. The fusion of guitars, ballad vocals and old-school hip-hop drums makes this song a full sonic and lyrical encapsulation of who Joel Maxwell is.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Getting to record my latest song Last Resort at my university campus with all of my friends either helping out or helping document the experience has got to be a career highlight so far.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
There is so much left for me to achieve as an artist. But ultimately, I want to create the blueprint for young christian artists to confidently be there true self on a world stage.
