About Jonny Blu
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
A random night in Colorado with my high school girlfriend, the guitar player at a restaurant we were at let me sing "Dock Of The Bay". The twinkle in her eye and the response from other patrons was my first experience with moving a room with a song.

“Miracles Happen”
I wrote and performed “Miracles Happen” for Disney’s The Princess Diaries 2. Hearing that song live on through the film and its soundtrack reminds me how music can travel far beyond the room where it began.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
One of my most memorable moments was building a Mandarin-pop career in Hong Kong and China as 蓝强 / 藍強. Having three Top Ten songs and receiving a 2005 Hong Kong Metro Music Awards honor showed me that music can cross languages and cultures.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I want to bring my English-language jazz-pop and Mandarin-pop catalogs to a new generation of listeners, while keeping each musical world clear and authentic. Connecting audiences across languages and cultures is still the biggest item on my list.
