Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was around 9/10 years old, I made my first song at uncle's home-studio. My pops had been telling him I be writing, or whatever. So, he brought me to the studio to record. It was called, "Lil J". Ma'dukes still got it on a CD, somewhere.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jorden Welch, Before I Close My Eyes Jorden Welch, Shut-Eye - EP Jorden Welch, The Wake: Extended Edition Released all in the same year, on the same run, with no gimmicks and minimal marketing. Just pure and organic music from the eye with a mind of its own. These 3 projects — along with multiple singles — made me who I am, today.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “HVNSNT” Guided by God and Mother Nature, "HVNSNT" was made at a pivotal point. It was the transition that I was attempting on purpose, but not expecting to happen the way it did.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first time performing, solo. It was just a different kind of energy in the building, and just a different hunger for me, cause I felt like I had something to prove. No matter how many times I perform in the future, that one can't be replicated.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The real question should be if there is anything that I have scratched off my bucket list, yet. The answer is yes, of course, but nothing to mention. My goal is to offer a different perspective to the world. You are how you see.
