In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents taught at a high school called Hayes. One summer when I was very young I accompanied them to the school talent show and saw a girl playing Michael Jackson, recreating the Smooth Criminal short film. That night changed everything for me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? JAY-Z, Reasonable Doubt Michael Jackson, Thriller Steely Dan, Aja Remastered For me Thriller is the greatest album of all time, the standard to measure artistic greatness by. Aja stands out as the album I want to make, a blueprint for how to fuse genres, and Reasonable Doubt is my personal hustler's soundtrack.

Tell us why you chose this song. “New Monk Swing” This song is special because it tells you who I am and what made me. Travel through the history of Black music, from James Brown to New Jack Swing and you arrive at LTtheMonk, blending hip-hop, R&B and dance to lead us into the future.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing my music with a 10-piece classical orchestra. My band and I had the opportunity to collaborate with an orchestra, who learnt my songs and added string and horn parts, and the blending of the classical and hip-hop worlds was special.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? First I'm focused on building a dedicated fan base, a community of people who I can connect with, and who feel represented by my art. Once I've done that, we'll get to the Grammys and the world tours.
