About Jukebox the Ghost
Jukebox the Ghost make smart, piano-based power pop that toes the line between quirky and emotionally resonant. Originating out of Washington, D.C.
in the late 2000s, they successfully merged the hooky piano pop of Ben Folds Five with the theatrical arena rock pomp of '70s icons like Queen and Wings. They flirted with the mainstream on 2012's album Safe Travels, then achieved breakout success on their 2014 self-titled album and 2018's Off to the Races. Their next two albums, 2022's Cheers and 2025's Phantasmagorical, Vol. 1, emphasized the band's more ebullient and playful nature.
