In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Growing up my grandfather would have shows around the tri-state area while I was living in New York. My mother would take me and my older brother to his shows, and watch him perform alongside our uncle at places like the Apollo theatre.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kanye West, Late Registration Michael Jackson, Off the Wall Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life These three albums, in my opinion, are these artists breakout albums. The albums that separated them from the rest, from the concept of Late Registration, the songwriting of Songs in The Key of Life, to the individuality of Off The Wall. Perfection.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting the chance to work on a soundtrack for a Japanese anime has been my highlight . Seeing how we were able to communicate and create something memorable and magical, within different cultures through music, was a dope experience.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Only thing i want to do currently is tour. I get a bunch of streams overseas, and I would love to interact with my fans that have made me plenty homes, away from home.
