In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When me & my dad were driving together when I was a kid, we often listened to old 70s and 80s songs - I remember listening to the Bee Gees. These older songs were really instrumental in the development of my songwriting style and feel.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Coldplay, Mylo Xyloto Imagine Dragons, Night Visions OneRepublic, Native These were some of the first albums I ever got when I was a kid, and it shaped the way that I think about music. I remember listening to these all day long on my CD player, they made me pick up music and planted the dream of having a career in me.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Better Days” This is a song about the experience of losing my father, and picking myself up after the loss. I wanted this song to be a reminder to all who have ever lost somebody to stay hopeful - the "better days" will come when you're ready to embrace them.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? On May 3rd 2023 we played our first proper ticketed show with my former band Indigo Skies. It was a huge win for us, everybody had a great time, our friends & family were there, I'll never forget the feeling of empowerment & joy that it gave me.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to be able to be able to live off of music alone. Opening for Coldplay at their next show in Poland wouldn't be too bad either, though.
