About Kid606
California's Miguel Depedro, aka Kid606, has been crafting energetic and aggressive breakbeat electronica since his impressive 1998 debut, DON'T SWEAT THE TECHNICS, released when he was literally a kid--16 years old. His brash blending of genres makes him refreshingly difficult to pigeonhole, and he's been called upon to remix artists as diverse as Depeche Mode, Peaches, and Erase Errata. In addition to his own contributions to the electronic music canon, he started the label Tigerbeat6, which has boosted the careers of many artists such as Cex, DJ Rupture, and Blectum from Blechdom.
