About King Iconic
Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At a young age I realized I loved music when I would hear someone sing and would rather hear them sing their song than to go outside and play. From there I join the school and church choirs all to later join that band then become the performer I am.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 2Pac, The Best of 2Pac, Pt. 1: Thug Anita Baker, The Best of Anita Baker Beyoncé, B'Day (Deluxe Edition) Anita was the first artist that I heard and fell in love with. Body and Soul is the GOAT. Beyonce's B'day got me more in love with performing with instruments and creating my own sound. 2Pac had a magnetic flow with melodies but still had the edge.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Shalora” This song pushed my level of performing and recording. It was the first time I had my own identity and style that made people see what I wanted them to see and feel. Going on the stage to perform this song will NEVER get old or boring.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? So far working and creating my new album "That Word!" I got the chance not to only write on the project but produce and actually create something to call mine and that actually represents where I've been and where I am.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I am just getting started. I want to become and EGOT winner with number one albums, sold out concerts and more. I want to be called Iconic but seen as LEGENDARY.
