In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Started singing from childhood at church then participated in a school choir in my secondary days. Started to deejay during primary school days and I was always curious to know how music was made or how radio stations operate.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Black Coffee, Pieces of Me DJ Kent, The Weekent Mafikizolo, Kwela I grew up listening to Mafikizolo music and the album always remind me why I should never stop making music. The weekent album inspired me a lot to learn ultimate mixing and Black Coffee album inspired me to focus more on music production.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ke Dirile Eng” When I produced song I was at my lowest. It was my first song that I loved how it turned out engineered by me.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Collaborating with artist and hosting music production sessions. Seeing people I mentored and worked with make it in the music Industry.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Engineering a live concert band and Selling out shows, touring the world, headlining a music festival at legendary venues. Collaborating with musical heroes and winning both national and international awards. Starting a foundation to support artists.
