Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first album I purchased with my "own" money was of Schubert's "Unfinished Symphony" that I had worn the grooves out of by the time I turned 7. A decade later, my personal soundtrack included Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music." Enough said.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Anthony Roth Costanzo, Dísella Lárusdóttir, J'Nai Bridges, Karen Kamensek, The Metropolitan Opera Chorus, The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Zachary James, Philip Glass: Akhnaten (Recorded Live at the Met - November 23, 2019) English Baroque Soloists, John Eliot Gardiner, Monteverdi Choir, Handel: Israel in Egypt Lou Reed, Zeitkratzer, Zeitkratzer Play Lou Reed - Metal Machine Music Only three!? Between them, these typify my musical influences and tastes. I picked Zeitkratzer's "cover" of Reed's career-ending album over the original because it shows one decade's "noise" recognized years later for the masterpiece it always was.
