About Kixx
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I felt a deep bassline in the back of my cousin's car as a kid — more vibration than sound. I didn't know the genre. I just knew that low rolling groove made the world feel different. I've been chasing that feeling ever since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Ben Watt, Julia Biel, Stimming, Bright Star
Herbert, Bodily Functions
Jazzanova, Jazzanova Remixed
These three albums live in the space where rhythm becomes meditation. Stimming's
hypnotic layers, Herbert's organic beats, and Jazzanova's deep grooves all shaped
how I think about building a track — not just music to hear, but music to feel.

“Been There Before”
Been There Before was my first release and every note came from a real place. The groove is built to pull you under slowly. It's the track that started everything for Kixx — and it still hits exactly the way I intended it to.
