In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started making beats and putting together loops on GarageBand when I first had access to it in the 6th grade. I ended up putting together enough songs to be considered a record and this would later become my first album ever released back in 2016.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? The Postal Service, Give Up (Deluxe 10th Anniversary Edition) Tyler, The Creator, IGOR twenty one pilots, Trench These three albums are crucial points in my life. My mom raised me on Ben Gibbard, so I model a lot of my ideals of how I want to contribute myself to the industry to his success. Trench and Igor very much guided my earlier music during high school.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Spacebound (feat. Kate Whitefield)” I think if I were to come up with a song that decently encapsulates my essence as an artist, it would be this one. From the desperation to collaborate with others, to the optimistic views on mental health, down to the vibe, it's one of my favorites.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Back in 2023 I got to perform my songs for my high school class in a concert that I put together to benefit the 988 suicide hotline. Hearing people sing along to my songs and dance along to my performance inspired me to take my art to new heights.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? At some point in my professional career, I would like to, at least once, work with or for the people that have driven me to become so passionate about this industry initially. Tyler Joseph, Josh Dun, Tyler Shapard, Mark Eshleman, and Paul Meany.
