Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My Dad would recite the lyric before Joni Mitchell would sing it, to teach me the beauty and brilliance of her words.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brandi Carlile, Bear Creek Chicks With Dip, Joni Mitchell's Blue: 40th Anniversary Celebration Japanese Breakfast, Jubilee Blue is a sacred album I really only listen to if I'm alone or feeling like I need a reminder of who I am. I would straighten my hair to Brandi Carlile's Bear Creek album every day in high school. Jubilee by Japanese Breakfast is a new obsession.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Cradle Me” I wrote this song when I was touring the West Coast of Canada. When I sing it, I see moving snapshots of the people and the places that shaped that tour, and of the peace I felt being alone on the road.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recording my second album on a Lake in Nova Scotia with incredible people.
