L-Vis 1990 is an electro-bass producer based in London, whose tracks draw from U.K. styles such as drum'n'bass and grime as well as U.S. sounds like Chicago house and Baltimore club. Along with Bok Bok, he is the co-founder of the trendsetting label Night Slugs, which helped push club music forward with its experimentation-heavy hybrid of grime, R&B, house, and bass music. After issuing singles and EPs through Night Slugs, Mad Decent, Institubes, and other imprints, L-Vis 1990 surfaced on major label Island Records with his 2011 debut full-length, Neon Dreams. He later issued the more pop-influenced mixtape 12 Thousand Nights in 2017, and returned to instrumental club music with his Dance System alias, and L-Vis releases like the 2025 EP Summer Heat.
