Named for the maiden name of founder Nicola Rust's mother, Laing is an electro-pop group from Berlin, Germany. Formed in 2007, the band has a sound that combines three-part girl group R&B vocals with slick and minimal electronic production, making for a sort of Kraftwerk meets Destiny's Child vibe. Their first album, Paradies Naiv, arrived in March of 2013.
