About LAIRO
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of our earliest memories is singing traditional songs in Valencian at school and at home. Clapping, repeating melodies and sharing music with others made us feel connected. That spirit of participation is at the heart of Lairó.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Canta Canalla, Canta Canalla El Diluvi, Espere (feat. La Fúmiga) - Single La Fúmiga, LA GENT DE LA MEDITERRÀNIA (feat. Abril., Andreu Valor, Arde Bogotá, Aspencat, Auxili, Cactus, Dani Miquel, Doctor Prats, El Diluvi, El Tio La Careta, Els Amics De Les Arts, Els Catarres, ESTHER, En Tol Sarmiento, Figa Flawas, Ginestà, Jonatan Penalba, La Casa Azul, Adrià Salas, LA XICA, Malifeta, Nebulossa, Miki Núñez, Mireia Vives, NAINA, OR (O-ERRA), Pep Gimeno "Botifarra", Romàntic Dimoni, Quinto, Samantha, Sandra Monfort, Suu, Tardor, Tesa, The Tyets, VaDeBo, Alex Seguí, Josep Nadal & Drasen) - Single We are inspired by artists who connect music and community. Dani Miquel shows the power of songs in Valencian. We also love the energy of La Fúmiga and traditional folk records that keep our roots alive.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Amanida D'hortalisses” “Amanida d'Hortalisses” is more than a song. It speaks about language, identity and confidence. Created in Valencian, it’s meant to be sung together, especially by children, turning every performance into a shared experience.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of our most memorable moments is seeing children and families singing our songs together live. When a whole crowd sings in Valencian and shares that joy, it becomes more than a concert — it’s a real connection.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We’d love to bring our music to more schools, towns and families, and see children singing in Valencian everywhere. For us, the dream is simple: growing a community where music, language and joy are shared together.
