Puerto Rican Latin trap rapper Lary Over broke out in 2016 with “Booty Call,” a slow-burn underground hit featuring MC Farruko.
∙ In 2017, the “El Wason” rapper substantially grew his base while on the road—first as an opener on MC Farruko’s TrapxFicante tour, and then via his own solo trek throughout Latin America.
∙ “Tu Me Enamoraste (Remix)”—Over’s 2018 Platinum-selling single with Anuel, Brytiago, Almighty, and Bryant Myers—helped popularize the Latin trap genre.
∙ His first LP, 2018’s El Wason BB, debuted in the Top 20 of Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart, and it hit No. 1 on the Apple Music charts in multiple Latin America countries.
∙ “Por Perro”—Colombian singer Sebastián Yatra’s hit single featuring Over—was certified quadruple-Platinum in 2019, and its music video surpassed 500 million views online.
