Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Singing along to the music my Dad played (Simon & Garfunkel and Fleet Foxes) in the kitchen.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kevin Abstract, American Boyfriend: A Suburban Love Story Lianne La Havas, Lianne La Havas Sylvan Esso, Free Love Sylvan Esso really got me into sampling + found sound. Finding Lianne La Havas' self titled really changed my life + the way I saw a guitar + chords. Learning how Abstract self produced this helped me realise I could maybe do it myself too.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I'm Free! (voice memo)” This is my favourite song off the EP. I wrote it at the start of spring and it really signals the start of a new brighter chapter for me. It's beautifully produced by TeaJay and feels very light and airy.
