About Lil Bean
Known for his honest, streetwise lyrics and catchy hooks, rising Bay Area rapper Lil Bean is following in the footsteps of the local hip-hop legends he came up listening to.
• Lil Bean grew up in San Francisco’s Geneva Towers, which were demolished in 1998. His father introduced him to Bay Area icons like Mac Dre and Messy Marv.
• The rapper began releasing music in 2019 and made a big noise locally with singles like “Side of Me” and “Down 2 Ride.”
• In 2020, Lil Bean dropped Campaign 2, featuring Bay Area legend E-40 on the track “Water.” That same year, he teamed up with fellow SF rapper ZayBang for the joint project The Label.
• He’s also collaborated with California hip-hop heavyweights like SOB x RBE, Shoreline Mafia, $tupid Young, and Sage the Gemini.
