A true showbiz kid as the daughter of Judy Garland and director Vincente Minnelli, Liza Minnelli was clearly born to entertain. In 1972, though she had already won a Tony award and been nominated for an Oscar, Liza truly became a household name via her role in the film version of CABARET.
