Artist Biography
Lone Wolf is the alter ego of Leeds, U.K.-based singer and songwriter Paul Marshall, whose dark, dreamy, and melodic songs have drawn comparisons to everyone from Nick Drake to Fleet Foxes. Marshall released a debut album, the largely acoustic Vultures, under his birth name in 2007. His second album project, The Devil and I, which was engineered and recorded by Kristofer Jonson of Jeniferever, had such a full, lush, and band-oriented sound and was so different than Vultures that Marshall felt compelled to think of it as a new beginning and switched his performing name to Lone Wolf. The Devil and I appeared in 2010 from Bella Union. ~ Steve Leggett
