A radio-friendly U.K. alt-rock act, Lonely the Brave have delivered a steady stream of melodic and anthemic material since emerging in the early 2010s. Citing Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, and Deftones as influences, the earnest yet hard-rocking group issued two acclaimed albums (The Day's War and Things Will Matter) before the departure of frontman David Jakes in 2018. Vocalist Jack Bennett joined the group for their rejuvenating third long-player, 2021's The Hope List. They returned in 2022 with the inspiring stand-alone single "Only You Say It."
