Argentinian ska-punk band formed in 1986 by a group of young people just to have fun and play at school parties, los Autenticos Decadentes' ability to travel through different styles, from rockabilly to romantic ballads, and the impressive number of good musicians in the band putting their ideas together, made los Autenticos Decadentes a very popular local act. Los Autenticos Decadentes got a record deal in 1991 with BMG, releasing the album Supersonico and 1992's Milagro Argentino, which includes the hit single "Siga el Baile." Mi Vida Loca arrived in 1995, and the following year, the band started touring Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru, Ecuador, México, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. In 1997, Cualquiera Puede Cantar was released, followed by 2000's Hoy Trasnoche. ~ Drago Bonacich
