Tell us why you chose this song. “Mockingbird” I wrote Mockingbird at the ripe age of 14 about a failed teenage relationship. Two years later, Phin and I began our new career with the song. Despite my youth, I still believe it's one of my best songs, and it's reminiscent of my childhood.
