Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is of listening to a CD preview in a bookstore, with headphones on of a compilation of Adagios for Harpsichord, and being blown away by the complexity and textures of the sounds. I was absolutely floored.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Hardrive: 2000, Never Forget (When You Touch Me) [feat. Lynae] - EP MssingNo, Fones - EP The Bug, London Zoo I love Missingno’s use of r&b samples. I’m inspired by The Bug’s melding of genres and i love the old house music vibes and vocal accompaniments on Never Forget…
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Invoke” i chose “Invoke” because it was the first song i made that i knew could get people moving and convey an emotion without lyrics.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I played a set in the desert at 3 am. it was super windy. we were camping and I was not very prepared, despite my scouting expertise.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I just want to keep pushing my sound in new directions, and hopefully inspire others to dance and create.
