Lithuania’s Lucky Luke makes bold, bass-heavy EDM infused with a pop flair. Born Lukas Kemesis in 1999, Luke became enamored with dance music as a child. Curious about how the tracks he loved were made, he began studying production tutorials, and by age 10 was uploading his own music to the internet. He leveled up in 2016, when one of his songs got into rotation on Lithuanian radio, going to No. 1 on the station’s charts. His career really took off the following year with singles “Lyd (Like You Do)” and “NTFL (Need to Feel Loved),” where he established his singular blend of sharp-edged bass melodies and beefy percussion, splitting the difference between future and big-room house. “Cooler Than Me,” in 2019, proved to be his breakthrough hit, pairing his trademark synth sound with a sing-along-ready topline.
