About Luest
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At 6 yo, in Dec 2009, I mixed on Virtual DJ on a Windows XP PC. Growing up on with my dad's rap and 80's flashbacks, and my mom's sertanejo created the raw genre collision that made me the versatile producer I am today.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Johnny Cash, American IV: The Man Comes Around Kanye West, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (Deluxe Edition (Explicit)) Racionais MC's, Nada Como um Dia Após o Outro Dia, Vol. 1 & 2 MBDTF for flawless production, Racionais for street reality, and Cash's American IV for the raw soul. Together, they prove music can heal, transcend dark times, and deliver pure, heavy emotion.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Smoke In The Hills” I chose "Smoke in the Hills" because it's my first 100% English trap release. Producing it pushed my creative boundaries and proved that my sound can transcend local limits to reach a global audience.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Returning to music in 2026 to build LionX Records again has been unforgettable. But hitting over 150,000 streams in just a few years since 2019 being independent, fills me with deep gratitude and proves the future holds massive things.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My ultimate bucket list goal is to make a full-time living solely from my music. I want to scale LionX Records into a powerhouse, allowing me to dedicate 100% of my time to producing.
