Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I remember getting my first few cassette tapes from Columbia House. Stuff like Green Day, The Cranberries — very mid 90s. Popping those into my walkman ushered music into my inner world. Thumbing through the liner notes, noticing little details.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Beach House, Teen Dream
Deftones, White Pony
Radiohead, Kid A
All of these records are just perfect. Each of them nudged me in uniquely different directions when I first heard them. Not only are they all perfect front to back, but I love them just as much now as I did when on first listen — maybe even more-so.

“The Man Who”
I had never approached making a song quite like this one — not overly complex, but still a bit of a puzzle. There were several points working on it that I came close to abandoning it. The feeling I wanted eventually arrived, but only with patience.
