M. Pokora is a chart-topping French singer-songwriter whose sound is modeled after such American R&B artists as Usher and Justin Timberlake.
∙ During Season Three of the French talent show Popstars, the producers placed him in the boy band Linkup, which won the competition and released a hit single.
∙ Latin-pop star Ricky Martin asked Pokora in 2006 to sing on a new version of Martin’s song “It’s Alright,” which became a Top 5 hit in France.
