Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My boy Harry Adams took time with me in our school's podcast nook to teach me the very basics of GarageBand, how to record, etc. I remember being so hype and just trying to absorb everything. Those podcast nook days were the beginning of everything.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city Madvillain, Madvillainy The Notorious B.I.G., Ready To Die the Remaster I chose Ready to Die because it's Biggie of course, and just loaded with classics and Hip-Hop significance. DOOM was a straight up legend, and represented the underground better than anyone else. Kendrick is just different, man. GKMC was like that.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Soul (feat. R.E.D. & Sclance)” This is a song that I love because as soon as I made the beat I felt it and knew immediately where I wanted to go with it. I felt it in my soul, and was able to connect other artists on it, too.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recently I was able to have a couple sets where the band had time to learn my songs before we performed. It was the first time I had my own beats going on in the background and it was a special experience.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? In 2023 I want to have my own concert, and hopefully other members from Ayr Records will have sets as well. I want to continue to collaborate with other artists/creatives and push out amazing, authentic content.
