Magneto and Mercurio were two of the many boy bands created by Latin producers searching for the new Menudo. Both bands were very popular in Mexico from the mid-'80s to the mid-'90s and both went through numerous incarnations and lineups. Starting in 2010, they also begun to have sporadic reunions. In 2015, Magneto and Mercurio announced yet another comeback, this time to launch an unprecedented joint tour. Returning members included Alan, Tono, Mauri, Alex, and Elías (Magneto), and Daniel, Rodrigo, Elís, Héctor, and Alfonso (Mercurio). The show was released as the CD/DVD Juntos por Ti.
