Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I owe my love for music to my dad, who plays & collects electric guitars. I learned how to play guitar, ukulele, drums, and piano growing up but what cemented my interest in rock music was watching the anime K-On!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Grimes, Visions
Kate Bush, The Kick Inside
Mazzy Star, So Tonight That I Might See
Visions inspired me to start producing music in college after learning she made early albums in GarageBand. Other favorites are So Tonight That I Might See for its dreamy melancholy, and The Kick Inside, whose influence echoes through artists I love.

“Feel Alive”
Feel Alive will always be special to me because it’s the first song I released, and the lyrics describe a melancholic yet hopeful feeling I think many people with depression can relate to.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
I recall performing at a prom for teenagers with down syndrome, one of the sweetest girls gave me a hug while performing and I had to hold back my tears. It was a very special moment for me to realize how music can make others happy.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Far-fetched but it’s free to manifest, I would love to collaborate with Maria Zardoya of The Marías one day. I noticed we have a lot of similarities and I admire how well-spoken she is in interviews. Or maybe even open for Mars Argo.
