About Mahalini
It would take Bali native Mahalini—born Ni Luh Ketut Mahalini Ayu Raharja—over half a decade and a television show to gain national prominence following the release of her 2015 debut single, the dramatic piano ballad “Bawa Dia Kembali”. After making it to the top five on Indonesian Idol, she achieved a commercial breakthrough in 2021 with the massive success of “Sisa Rasa”, a stirring ode to her departed mother. Praised for her crystalline soprano and sentimental lyricism, Mahalini is one of Indonesia’s leading pop acts to emerge from Generation Z.
