With winding rhythms, pounding bass, and a forward-looking sonic palette, mysterious producer Maison Ware brings a cinematic touch to the late-2010s bass music scene.
Making their debut with the December 2018 single "Control," anonymous producer Ware put a futuristic spin on the bass-driven house scene of the late 2010s, adding a slick, dark feel to the pounding staples of the genre. Their first EP, Voices, arrived the following year, expanding on the single's moody sonics with a collection of intense, nocturnal anthems. After rounding out the year with an appearance alongside deadmau5 on the Mau5trap compilation we are friends, early 2020 saw the enigmatic producer release singles "Midnight Rendezvous," "Mind," and "Satisfy" on the house heavyweight's label. ~ David Crone
