Manan Bhardwaj is one of the brightest stars in the post-millennial generation of filmi composers. His evocative and catchy songs add emotional punch to Bollywood’s dazzling action flicks and tender romantic comedies while taking on a second life as pop hits that soundtrack his fans’ lives. The singer, songwriter, and producer, born in the northern Indian city of Gurgaon in 1987, began pursuing music at a young age. He found early success with 2016’s hip-hop-infused “Lamborghini” as part of a duo with Punjabi singer Rajat Deepak, releasing the music on his own label White Coffee, before writing music for films.
