Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When my father showed my the music video for Don't Cry by Guns n' Roses I was mesmerized and knew that that was what I wanted, the intensity, the beautiful song, the extreme vocals and the guitars and the iconography of it all.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Guns N' Roses, Appetite for Destruction Muse, Absolution My Chemical Romance, The Black Parade Guns n' Roses is when my musical consciousness kicked in. Absolution by Muse is an underrated masterpiece, musically it still sounds like the ultimate future of where a rockband could go. The Black Parade is my favourite gesamtkunstwerk.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've had an orchestra play a movement of a pianoconcert I wrote; 80 people who bring something that doesn't exist outside of written notes alive in a way that you could never imagine, the music went from black and white to ulraviolet
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Releasing on vinyl, a headlinetour through Europe and Japan, playing Paradiso, working with an orchestra, having The Last Mandrill action figures, being in a videogame
