Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember my mom teaching me how to play the flute before I started first grade. We had flute-lessons and she pretended to be the teacher. Afterwards she'd go back to being my mom and ask about how the lesson went. :)
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bill Evans, Monica Zetterlund, Waltz For Debby Chet Baker, Chet Baker Sings: It Could Happen To You Memfismafían, Sigurður Guðmundsson, Oft spurði ég mömmu All of these albums are close to my heart. I've listened to them back and fourth, over and over again and they've inspired me. They are all warm, alive and minimally produced; recorded in an old fashioned manner :)
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Stormur” I wrote the song, Stormur (transl. Storm) for my two god children. It's a care-poem so to speak, carrying a promise that I will love them, take care of them and be there fro them no matter what "storm" they encounter in their lives.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Winning the Icelandic Music Awards for my composition was an absolute highlight of my musical career. Such a humbling and encouraging moment!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to tour the world with my music, playing in small clubs and venues, where the energy and closeness of the audience creates an intimate and vibrating event.
