About Marc Peter
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My family would often sing on road trips. I learned to harmonize singing with my family and singing at church. I would make up songs in my bedroom or in the back seat of the car. I process through writing.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Andrew Peterson, Counting Stars Deluxe Edition
Rich Mullins, The World As Best As I Remember It, Vol. 1
Switchfoot, The Beautiful Letdown (Deluxe Version)
These albums gave voice to thoughts and feelings inside me I hadn't fully identified nor had the words to express. They stirred something in me that I can only describe as wonder and longing. Influential lyrically, stylistically, and spiritually.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Let It Out”
This song is candid about my struggles with anxiety. The line “If I wasn’t convinced of God...” is key because I do believe God is love; loves us deeply and perfectly. He is far more patient and kind than most of us realize. Lord, help my unbelief.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I'd love to record some newer material that represents more current thoughts, feelings, and experiences in my life.
