In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memories include singing in church back home. My aunt Sara was the first person to put a microphone in my hand and let me explore what music felt like. I got solo in our youth choir concert and cried the whole song, but I sang it.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Joe, My Name Is Joe Marvin Gaye, Here, My Dear Project Pat, Mista Don't Play: Everythangs Workin Marvin Gaye's album is the type of musical freedom that artists long for in creating music. Joe is a very intentional singer and musician, but one of the best songwriters on the planet. Project Pat is unapologetic and represents the southern sound.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Make You Mine” This is my only single currently and my first piece of music that I'd ever written for myself. For years, I just wanted to do covers and sing the music of others because it wasn't as vulnerable. I let go of the fear and put myself out there. Issa Bop
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? As a teenager, I got to travel and sing with high school choir, but the most memorable part was singing Mozart in Westminster Abbey for a group of music lovers who had no clue who we were. The concert was a magical experience.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to do a Jazz Album, live with a big band of some of my favorite jazz covers. I released an EP of jazz covers a couple of years ago and it felt good, but I want to do it live.
