Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of the earliest musical memories I have is using an old rose of a watering can as a microphone. I would sing along with Kim Carnes' Bette Davis Eyes.

George Michael, Faith (2010 Remastered)
Mariah Carey, Butterfly
Melissa Etheridge, Your Little Secret
Melissa Etheridge's songwriting on Your Little Secret just hit me to the core. George Michael's album Faith is just a classic I grew up with. The production on Mariah Carey's Butterfly album still informs me to this day in the studio.

I started writing the music to this song for a film project I was involved in in L.A. It didn't make the cut for the film, but I liked it so much that I chose it for some lyrics I had written about my hometown Berlin.
