Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Disney movies, and church. Both- provided me the knowledge and gifts to perform. Growing up also my mother played a lot of the classic hip hop greats and wonderful RnB acts. She even dabbled with alternative.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Azealia Banks, Broke with Expensive Taste Nicki Minaj, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded the Re-Up Playboi Carti, Die Lit Nicki was really gunning for the top while flexing diversity in a different array of influences. Carti always has these powerful frequencies in the art. It’s incredible. AB just doesn’t play…AT. ALL. Like you can taste the fire.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ill (Remastered)” When I wrote this song. It was my first to go viral on a platform called “Soundcloud.” I was in my room and had just got off my part time. That night I had the beat for a while, and I got in the studio wrote it in like 10 mins, then BAM! Baby born.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Hitting my first K’s on SoundCloud. It showed me that I had a purpose, and that I had a voice, and also that people wanted to hear what I had to say. No matter how little or big the support is I ALWAYS appreciate it.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To be iconic and leave this world impacted…spiritual…and physical. I also want to be able to take care of my loved ones. I wanna be that alt kid from the hood who made it successful, and give people who are like me a platform. Show them they can…
