Marilina Bertoldi is an award-winning Argentine singer, songwriter, and guitarist. She is also a feminist, activist, and music industry gadfly and provocateur. Her fan base across Latin America is enormous. Bertoldi's vibrant style, as evidenced by 2016's award-winning album Sexo con Modelos, crisscrosses swaggering indie and garage rock, neo-psychedelia, angular post-punk, mutant blues, and soul. Prender un Fuego stormed the nation's album charts in 2018; she followed it with the internationally acclaimed Mojigata in 2022. Her 2025 debut album, PARA QUIEN TRABAJAS, Vol. 1 was a change-up -- it reflected the sounds of '80s music and production from rock and pop to funk and electro.
