In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents bought a small Kawai organ when I was five and I couldn’t stay off it. I later studied jazz and classical piano through AMEB and Trinity College. By 16 I was gigging professionally — music has been my life ever since.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dirty Loops, Loopified Jacob Collier, Djesse Vol. 4 Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life Stevie Wonder’s Songs in the Key of Life shaped my songwriting and sense of groove. Dirty Loops’ Loopified inspires me with its fearless musicianship and harmony, and Jacob Collier’s Djesse Vol. 4 reminds me how deeply music can move and connect us.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Children” My arrangement of “Children” is special to me because my eldest son first introduced me to the piece. I transformed it into a blisteringly fast live piano performance, and it always brings the house down with standing ovations.
