About Masamoth
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
As time went by, his musical direction slowly began to change. From being behind the drum kit, Masamoth found himself drawn toward hip-hop. What started as an interest gradually became a form of personal expression.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
LINKIN PARK, Hybrid Theory
Mac Miller, Watching Movies with the Sound Off
Wiz Khalifa, Rolling Papers
I chose these three albums because each one represents a different part of my musical identity and has influenced the way I listen to and appreciate music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“John Lazy”
“John Lazy” is a nostalgic reflection of the days when the world came to a standstill during the COVID-19 pandemic. The song captures the feeling of having nowhere to go, nothing to rush for, and simply letting the days pass by.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
When someone unexpectedly approached me and asked if I wanted to perform in front of a large crowd. What made it even more exciting was having the opportunity to perform in front of my fellow Irigueños.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I just want to share my songs with everyone. For me, music is about expressing myself, telling my story, and hopefully connecting with people who can relate to what I create.
