Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 13 years old, I found a guitar in an abandoned house. I started to write songs almost immediately, barely able to play. It was the first outlet for creative & emotional expression I ever had. And that changed everything for me.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Nirvana, In Utero 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition The 1975, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships The Doors, The Doors These 3 albums seem like a hodgepodge collection, but to me, it perfectly sums up my eclectic tastes for guitar-driven music. 'In Utero' is raw & desperate. 'The Doors' is just timeless. And 'A Brief Inquiry' is a modern pop classic.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Little Pills Wrapped in Paper” I wrote this song during a period of unrelenting insomnia and an unfortunate addiction to Ativan. It got to a point where I didn't want to live anymore, but when I wrote this song, with tears rolling down my cheeks, I felt that music could save me.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Any time a listener messages me to let me know how a song affected them. Those are the moments that mean the most to me. For me, It's all about connection and feeling less alone. That's the only reason I share my songs.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To go on an extensive tour across the US & Europe :).
