About Max Ramirez
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I remember as a toddler, taking my parents binder of CDs and playing them in a small CD player, those that looked like pills. I remember looking for my favorite songs not knowing the name or artist but I knew they played them.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
EDEN, vertigo
J. Cole, The Off-Season
Maluma, 11:11
I listen to so much music it's hard to choose just 3. Vertigo was a very important album in my life and I still go back and listen from beginning to end. Off-Season solidified my love for storytelling. Maluma helped me find the style I want to make.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Fine”
only song out at the moment under this alias. I love this song because it was for my parents as we had to deal with the fact that I had to make some sacrifices that no one wanted in order to help my family.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
I really love the music making process. But I've had the pleasure of working with some really great artists and it feels good to be able to see some success off of what I make. I want to be able to share my music to more and more people.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I want to tour, perform for large crowds, and just enjoy the music I make with others. I'd love to work with some bigger artists but in due time.
