About Maysa
Born Maysa Leak in Baltimore, Maryland, jazz and R&B singer Maysa began her professional musical career as a back-up singer for Stevie Wonder. After numerous session gigs, Maysa landed the role of lead singer for the British jazz-influenced R&B band Incognito. While recording with Incognito over the years, Maysa has also released a series of solo albums, including her self-titled debut and 2002’s OUT OF THE BLUE, which showcased her brand of smooth, jazz-inspired urban contemporary. The talented vocalist has also collaborated with Grainger, Rhythm Logic, and Pieces of a Dream, among others.
