Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Back in elementary school, I wasn't all too into music. I didn't really know what was out there sonically until my mom played me Illmatic by Nas. That was the catalyst for the countless hours I've sent listening to music from all over in every genre.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Boards of Canada, Music Has the Right to Children J Dilla, Donuts Madvillain, Madvillainy These three records made a significant impact on my perception of music. Be it the ambience of Boards of Canada, the complex samples of J Dilla, or the witty rhymes of MF DOOM, I frequently come back to these albums as they have influenced my sound.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ily.” This is one of the many tracks that I genuinely loved making for The Philophobe, I was in the studio head nodding. It might be one of my favorite beats I've ever made.
