Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Mesaeba passion for music and dance blossomed through school and local events in Mogapi, Botswana. Inspired by South African artists, he began blending traditional Lekompo with modern dance and house.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? DJ Call Me, Dikuku (feat. Makhadzi) - Single Master KG, Di Boya Limpopo (feat. Zanda Zakuza & Makhadzi) - Single Prince Benza, Ngwago (feat. Makhadzi) - Single I chose Makhadzi's albums on Apple Music because her music, with its fusion of traditional rhythms and modern beats, is a direct inspiration for Mesaeba's unique sound. It highlights the authentic, village-rooted style he aims to achieve.

What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments was when I first performed my unrecorded songs live on a radio show during Botswana’s Independence celebration. Sharing my raw sound with the nation on such a big day was unforgettable and truly inspiring.

Mesaeba, born Gobuamang Begensel in 2004 in Mogapi, Botswana, is a rising lekompo singer known for blending traditional rhythms with Afro-house and percussion. His sound is rooted in culture, bringing raw emotion and energy to every performance
